Sewn loop of Ø 8.3 mm dynamic rope, for use on multi-pitch routes and mountaineering in general.
ALP LOOP, made of dynamic rope, is able to limit the shock transmitted to the user in a potential fall and for this reason it is useful for equalizing anchors on trad routes, as lanyard for self-belaying at the belay station, as lanyard for abseiling and as accessory cord to use with natural anchors.
Fully met the requirement of UIAA 109 BELAY LANYARD. UIAA 109 standard requires the rope loop to withstand three successive factor-2 falls; it also requires the peak force of the first fall to be less than 10 kN.
