Although each Ignite is designed for a different type of work, they all share a mass of practical solutions, durability and attractive design.
The Proton Wind Slider is designed for use during wind turbine maintenance. Regardless of the user's level of expertise, any technician will appreciate its convenience and practicality. It allows precise positioning, comfortable climbing, and ergonomic confinement. In addition to the features typical of its industry, the Proton Wind Slider also has the complete equipment that the Ignite series of harnesses excel in.
The model comes in three sizes - XS/M, M/XXL and XXL/5XL. Each of them offers an exceptionally wide range of adjustment, which, combined with the smooth-acting straps, allows you to customize the harness for both summer and winter projects.The Proton Wind Slider is equipped with a synthetic plate that protects against abrasion when working in narrow passages. Thanks to it, the technician does not have to worry about whether the back of the harness rubs against the tower wall when climbing a ladder. This solution significantly increases the life of the harness without adding too much weight. Also, the rear absorber insertion point has been placed in a reinforced fabric protector.
The harness has aluminum insertion points, both A and side. The use of this alloy allows a significant reduction in weight, while maintaining the highest standards for durability. For safety reasons, the multi-purpose elbows have been anodized in colors that are easy to distinguish, even in low-light conditions.The Proton Wind Slider variation has an additional D-point on the belt. The point is movable, so any user can center it perfectly, and the adjustment itself is simple and quick. Like the other points, this one is also made of aluminum.
Each Ignite is equipped with a drop-off indicator on the adjustment strap. This is a simple and easy-to-read sign showing whether excessive forces have been applied to the harness. If such a situation has occurred, the special technical stitching of the strap tears, revealing a red tag, indicating that the harness must be withdrawn from further use. This solution significantly increases the safety of the technician, especially when the harness is used by more than one person.The harness meets all the current assumptions of European standards EN 358, EN 361 and also American ANSI Z359.11 and Canadian Z259.10.
