ERGO is a series of tree climbers, which was developed as a result of numerous discussions with experienced arborists, tests and lessons learned from the use of previous models in the GECKO series. Compared to their predecessors (as well as competitors' products), the models in this series are characterized by an unprecedented level of comfort and a very wide range of adjustment, basically in any plane.

Each model in the ERGO series is available in two types - with long spikes (5.1 cm, dedicated to trees) or short spikes (2.5 cm, designed for poles). Regardless of the chosen version, the spikes are made of hot-forged steel, so they securely penetrate the wood structure. Both variants are available as spare parts, to be replaced by the user himself.
The frame of this version is made of 100% steel, additionally coated with an anti-corrosion layer. The profile of this structure itself is designed to reduce the pressure on the climber's shin and calf as much as possible. Much of this is due to the height-adjustable bracket, which allows you to precisely adjust the tree shoe to the anatomy of the user's leg.
Comfortable padding means comfortable work! Keeping this in mind, the ERGO series woodchucks have been designed in such a way that the padding provides as much support surface as possible while eliminating pressure points. The soft sponge was additionally covered on the inside with an anti-slip material. The outer part was made of reinforced fiberglass, additionally dyed in NOTCH's typical nautical color.
On the underside of the support the manufacturer has placed a rubberized stirrup. Its presence makes the shoe sit much more rigidly in the tree shoe, and the sole does not slip during work - even in the rain. A double mounting system is also responsible for the proper holding of the shoe. Independent adjustment of the front and rear straps allows you to precisely adjust the binding to individual preferences.
The upper part of the tree shoe is stabilized by a strong Velcro with a width of more than 10 cm. The large surface area of the hooked part ensures a firm binding, and the flat profile of the strap prevents accidental detachment during operation.
The trebuchets are designed to handle significant loads. The maximum weight of the user, including all the gear he or she is wearing, can be as much as 158 kg, one of the highest values on the market.
Both the removable cushions and the rest of the components are exceptionally easy to clean. They don't require special agents and all you need to clean them is water with a mild detergent.
Regardless of the version chosen, the woodchucks come with a pair of stud-mounted leather protectors. These protect the material of the backpacks or bags in which the woodchoppers are transported.
In the case of ERGO woodchoppers, virtually any part can be replaced - starting with the spikes, through the straps, pads or Velcro. All parts can be independently disassembled and reinstalled by the user.
A QR code, individual for each pair, is engraved on the body of the product, which allows for seamless identification, inspection and inventory of the product in the SCANNABLE system. The marker has encoded information on the serial number or date of manufacture, allows access to the manual or declaration of conformity and - after assigning the product to your SCANNABLE account - easier inventory or inspection by a competent person. The SCANNABLE app is compatible with both iOS and Android.
