K-CLASSIC Carabiner
K-CLASSIC is a model that, to the untrained eye, may look like a typical screw-lock D-shaped carabiner. What sets it apart from other models is the lock, which, instead of being screwed, requires a downward slide. The movement is simple, quick, and intuitive, making this model often used as a connector on Via Ferrata lanyards (e.g., the CLASSIC-K COMPACT model). A specially secured spring is protected against dirt and wear, and the carabiner body itself provides a large 22-millimeter clearance.

The carabiner is equipped with a non-snagging Keylock closure. CATCH FREE technology means much smoother operation and eliminates snagging of the carabiner on gear loops, anchor points, or device walls.
The carabiner complies with all current EN 12275:2013-K standards. It is also accredited by the UIAA, the International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation. Importantly, the brand has advanced quality control and monitoring systems in place, which go as far as individually inspecting each carabiner produced.
