MIXTE is the most versatile of the blades designed for distinctly mixed terrain applications. It is the standard blade mounted on X-Dreams. It is a successful attempt to combine different climbing activities in effect guaranteeing great performance in both technical rock terrain, mixed terrain and ice terrain. The beak and bottom teeth are optimized for ice climbing (the teeth are almost identical to those on the Ice blade but extend further down the stylus). The blade also has minimal teeth on the top section for undercutting in mixed terrain.
It is possible to customize the blade to suit the needs of the activity. The orange cap can be replaced with a hammer or shovel. This is a unique option for personalizing an advanced checker.
