The ORIENT EXPRESS BI-MATIC is a safety carabiner specifically designed for belaying.
Its captive eye secures the belay loop of the harness, preventing the carabiner from rotating and ensuring optimal alignment. The automatic double-action locking system and ergonomic sleeve allow for quick and smooth handling.

A carabiner with a large clearance and a special design intended for use with belay devices. Thanks to its integrated locking mechanism, once clipped into the harness connector, it prevents the belay device (cup) from rotating or becoming misaligned, for example, when giving slack.
The large working area of the carabiner allows it to be used with both conventional belay devices, such as the AIR FORCE, and the Beal BIRDIE automatic belay device.
The carabiner is equipped with a Bi-Matic locking mechanism, which allows for faster opening and closing.
The lower part of the carabiner is contoured to maintain its position in the harness connector.
