ASTRO International Version Harness

The ASTRO harness is designed for rope access technicians. Its design is specific to progression and rope ascent. The 3D foam padding and semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loop construction provide comfort throughout the workday. The gated ventral attachment point allows the user to efficiently install the necessary equipment for progression. The integrated CROLL L rope clamp improves efficiency for rope ascent. The waistbelt features metal side attachment points, equipment loops, and tool holder slots, allowing the user to organize and carry all the necessary equipment for a day of work. DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckles and FAST opening buckles make donning and adjusting the harness simple and convenient, even while wearing gloves.

Ultra-comfortable construction:

• Shoulder straps are widely spaced to reduce neck chafing
• Sliding straps provide more freedom and ease of movement
• All contact zones, including the shoulder straps, waistbelt and leg loops, use 3D foam padding and are lined with breathable material, providing more comfort while suspended and throughout the workday
• Semi-rigid waistbelt and leg loops provide optimal harness fit and support
• Metal side attachment points can be folded down to prevent them snagging accidentally when not in use
• Elastic leg loop bands (replaceable and available as an accessory) allow the harness to maintain the right adjustment whether the user is walking or suspended

Efficiently integrate equipment with gated ventral point:

• Connect the PROGRESS ADJUST or JANE lanyard directly to the pin of the attachment point without a connector
• The CROLL L ventral rope clamp is connected directly to the ventral point for greater efficiency and freedom of movement on rope ascents
• Connect a PODIUM or LITEPOD work seat to the pin of the attachment point so the load is supported directly by the descender, while providing mobility at the ventral attachment point

Convenient adjustment system:

• Shoulder straps have a FAST opening buckle on the left, making it easy to put on and take off; and a DOUBLEBACK self-locking buckle on the right with an anti-slip device, for easy adjustments that don't slip
• Waistbelt is equipped with self-locking DOUBLEBACK buckles
• Leg loops are equipped with FAST opening buckles that fasten and unfasten quickly and easily, even while wearing gloves, without needing to readjust

Easy to carry and organize equipment:

• Shoulder straps are equipped with a Velcro strap that can be adjusted up or down and positioned on the left or right side to hold an ASAP'SORBER energy absorber
• Lanyard connector parking for fall-arrest lanyards are installed on the shoulders
• Waistbelt is equipped with two foldable, side metal attachment points for connecting a positioning lanyard in double mode
• Seven pre-shaped equipment loops with protective sheath, two slots for CARITOOL tool holders and INTERFAST connection system, and two loops for TOOLBAG tool pouches

In the event of a fall on the dorsal attachment point, a red indicator appears, signaling that the harness should be retired
