PINTO's Pulley I Need To Own series blocks have been among the most popular models in this Welsh manufacturer's collection over the years. Now they have undergone a modernization, introducing more innovations to them, while retaining the convenience of work and high quality known from previous versions. The biggest change is the pin at the bottom of the block, which allows PINTO to be expanded and upgraded. It is complemented by a revised profile of the top of the liners, allowing smoother feeding and pulling of the rope during operation.

The red PINTO 2 works with ropes up to 14 mm in diameter. Such a value means that it will easily handle the vast majority of ropes available on the market. This version has a working strength of 5 kN and a destructive strength of 35 kN. A RIG version is also offered for ropes up to 16 mm in diameter and withstands loads of 50 kN MBS and 10 kN WLL.
The crossbar located at the bottom of the block is not only extremely strong (5 kN WLL, 25 kN MBS), but can also be unscrewed with basic tools. In its place, the user can screw in a whole host of other accessories from the DMM collection, expanding the pulley and allowing the PINTO to be used in a much wider range of applications.
The enlarged 29mm roller was based on a ball bearing. This type of design will be ideal for loads transported at higher speeds. It is characterized by very high wear resistance and incredibly smooth operation. They also allow more precise control of the load. The entire structure of the pulley has been additionally protected from moisture and dirt.
All the edges of the pulley are maximally spun, so they can work seamlessly with textiles, such as ropes and webbing. What's more, thanks to the additionally available Pinto Spacer bushings, the rope can be run directly through the carabiner insertion hole without risking cutting the linings. We will appreciate such a solution when working with more advanced systems.
All metal products in the DMM portfolio undergo an anodization process, which not only makes them look more aesthetically pleasing, but also more resistant. The surface of the aluminum used in production gains anti-corrosion and mechanical protection, which will be especially appreciated when climbing on cliffs or working in toxic environments. For higher volume orders it is possible to order the carabiner in a color outside the standard offer.
